ABOUT THE SISTERS
McKinney’s Favorite Realtors®! Monica Szewczyk and Julie Williams formed Texas Property Sisters, LLC in 2013. Following successful sales careers in corporate America, the two decided to take their business experience and team up in Real Estate.
Monica started her career working for a large hotel chain. She then moved into sales and sales leadership roles for a global training and consulting company in Dallas. She developed excellent sales, interpersonal and negotiation skills during this time working with top business leaders in the areas of sales, service and leadership training. When her second daughter was born, she stepped away from the corporate world and became a successful entrepreneur with a national jewelry company where she was recognized for top sales for many years.
Julie worked for several high-tech firms in the global sales arena including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Microsoft. Her clients were Fortune 100 companies such as Hertz, EDS, Wal-Mart, Exxon, JC Penny, 7-11 to name a few. As a sales manager, Julie developed strong people skills and worked on large contract negotiations. She was recognized as a top performer at each of these companies.
Both of the “sisters” have lived in McKinney in the Stonebridge Ranch area for more than 20 years. Monica and her husband, Todd, have two daughters. Julie and husband Jerry, have 3 daughters, 10 grand-children and 1 great-grandchild.
Since forming Texas Property Sisters, Julie and Monica have enjoyed great success. They have been named Top 25 Women in Business in McKinney, Living Magazine Reader’s Choice Best Realtors 2018, Best Real Estate Agents in 2019, Reader’s Choice Favorite Realtor in 2020, 2021, Top 500 Real Producers North DFW and are consistently in the top team sales for Keller Williams North Collin County. Julie and Monica are both licensed Realtors® which means that they are members of the National Association of Realtors subscribing to a strict code of ethics, professionalism, and knowledge of the local real estate market. The demand for houses has increased, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, with many people working remotely. The Sisters are active members of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Julie is a past Chair of the Chamber board and also serves on the board of the McKinney Economic Development Corporation. Julie is also on the McKinney Main Street Board and is a graduate of the 2019 Leadership McKinney class. Monica is the Past-President of BNI for McKinney and part of the Accelerated Network Group. They both deliver for Meals on Wheels of Collin County.

Fairview is a town in Collin County, Texas with a small town feel but conveniently
located being part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Fairview is very safe and has excellent schools. It is a wonderful place to raise a family. There are many fun family activities nearby including Arcade 92, Go Ape, Heard Natural Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary, Monster Mini Golf, Lola’s Local Market, Historic Downtown McKinney, Food Walks of Texas, the famous Southfork Ranch, and The
Dinosaur Company. If you love the great outdoors you will enjoy Kayak McKinney,
Beaver Run Park, Towne Lake Park, Al Ruschhaupt Park and Celebration Park.
Residents enjoy great shopping and wonderful restaurants at The Village at Fairview.
Anna is located in northern Collin County. The U.S. Route 75 freeway passes through the west side of the city and leads 45 miles southwest to the center of Dallas and 32 miles north to Denison. Anna is extremely safe, has excellent schools, making it an excellent place to raise a family. Anna has a hometown feel but is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and plenty of fun things to do. Animal lovers can enjoy nearby Cathy’s Critters and Monkey See Monkey Do Exotic Petting Zoo. Other kid friendly activities include Arcade 92, Top Fun
Ranch, Slayter Creek Park, and Natural Springs Park. Residents can also enjoy Lola’s Local Market and Barn Hill Vineyards. There are also festivals throughout the year that provide regular opportunities to connect with the local culture.
Melissa is convenienty located seven miles northeast of McKinney just off State Highway 75, in north-central Collin County. While remembering and honoring its past, embracing small-town charm and sensibilities, Melissa has positioned itself for quality and managed growth in the coming years. Melissa is very safe, has excellent schools making it the perfect place to raise a family. There are many fun things to do with the family near Melissa. Residents can enjoy a nearby indoor trampoline park, basketball, dodgeball, indoor carting, horseback riding, bowling, billiards and laser tag. Southfork Ranch made famous by the hit TV show Dallas is nearby. Nature lovers will enjoy Trails of Melissa Park, Liberty Park and Melissa Zadow Park.
